Queer Picnic!

Queer picnic is an annual autonomous anti corporate event which was organised by and for queer black, indigenous, people of colour who identify as queer, trans or intersex. The event was founded in 2015 by CJ Daniel Bruce, Danny Fernando, Jacob V Joyce, Krishna Istha, Sabah Choudrey and Umber Ghauri . The event called Pride In London which began as an autonomous set of activisms by LGBTQ groups has now become a space which celebrates banks, the police, the military and countless corporate and government authorities. Queer Picnic is both a space for celebration and solidarity queer people in the Global South, Palestine and those resisting capitalism and the industrial military/prison complex.
