Sorry Not Sorry, Tokenism and White Liberal Proverbs | TEDx

I discuss the rise in UK collectives of artists and thinkers centring black and brown voices, such as Gal-dem, Voices That Shake, Skin Deep, Black Lives Matter UK, Black British Girlhood, BBZ London, Collective Creativity and Sorry You Feel Uncomfortable. I also discuss my approach to artistry as a way of undermining oppressive power structures with satire, finishing off with a performance of ‘White Liberal Proverbs’.
